AVID Induction Ceremony

Upper AVID classmen inducted incoming AVID Freshmen to AVID at CHS on Tuesday, August 11 in the Performing Arts Center. AVID Families enjoyed a candlelit event and refreshments, including a contract signing for students and parents/guardians. Principal Jill Dahl, CHS AVID Coordinator David Kayser, the AVID Elective teachers David Stolkowski and Michelle Gabro, and rising Junior and AVID student Lorena Gutierrez-Martinez spoken and a video was shared about the summer events so far.

AVID Summer Leadership Retreat

AVID Elective student leaders of all grade levels met to discuss and plan for the upcoming year, learn about different leadership types, and participate in team building activities on Friday, August 7 at CHS.
